“My Mother was a teacher in one of the last one-room schoolhouses in the state of Michigan, with students in kindergarten through 8th grade all being taught together. She scraped and saved her money all of her life. Having savings and the ability to take care of herself later in life was as important to her as the kids she taught and the kids she raised. However, in the last few years of her life, it gave her great joy to be able to give back to her community. I know investing in this endowment would give her pleasure, knowing she could provide a gift to students that would keep on giving.”
